The title comes from Romeo and Juliet when Romeo goes to tell the friar that he is in love with Juliet. The friar calls Romeo a Young Waverer since Romeo was only recently smitten by another girl, Rosaline. But Romeo alas is merely following his heart. And his heart has led him to Juliet.
