We open the show in conversation with Icelandic-Canadian Lindy Vopnfjörd, who will be appearing in a FREE concert at Club SAW on Saturday night, with Norwegian singer-songwriter Marthe Halvorsen. Both artists are also appearing at the Governor General's residence - Rideau Hall - for a free afternoon concert on Saturday. We talk to Lindy about some of the beautiful metaphors he worked with on his last album, State of the Heart, and about two powerful socio-political singles he's put out.
